This is our latest design, she surpassed all of our expectation when she was launched on Lake Simcoes rough waters, she is extremly sea worthy, rows and handles like a dream, she is fast stable and light weight has two rowing stations can seat two adults and two children with ease, a great fishing boat, would be ideal for a fly fishing river driftboat. An all round recreational
cottage boat, a pure rowing boat with her lovely sheer and double ends, would make a great fly in boat for wilderness fishing, can be paddled or can be mounted with a outboard electric or two horse motor for trolling, is easily handled by two people, is car topable. just an all round sweet boat.
She comes equipped with Pete Culler style long balanced oars, specially designed for this boat, a perfect match for her easily driven hull. These combined with bronze oar locks makes this a perfect rowing machine.

HISTORY
I first spotted this boat in Wooden Boat magazine, she was originally designed by Walter McInnis for use as a fly fishing boat. he called it "A Voyageurs Bateaux" was subsequently modified by Earl Rummery rounding the
hard chines and building it canoe style with flat ribs canvas covered, which has been in use at his Maine camp since the late forties and is still in use as far as
I can tell.

William Garden writes about this craft in his book "Classic Small Craft": calling it a remarkable all round rowing craft.
